Kia has managed to redefine the sedan class, even though this market isn’t as popular as it once was. Kia has been killing the sedan game by offering more value and luxury, influencing other carmakers to do the same. So if you’re shopping for a new and reliable car, Kia likely has an ideal choice for you.

If you’re looking for a well-rounded small sedan to get you from Point A to Point B, the 2020 Kia Rio is a great option. The Rio is a subcompact car known for its liveliness and excellent fuel economy. For a subcompact car, the Rio offers enough power thanks to its 120-hp, 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. And even though it’s small, the Rio’s cabin is pretty spacious. It comes with desirable tech features too.

The K5 is an all-new nameplate for Kia, and effectively replaces what we have known as the Optima. You can think of the K5 as a flashier alternative to the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima. The K5 features four different trim options and has two available engines. Standard models have a 180-hp, 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and an eight-speed automatic. You’ll want to opt for more power for GT-Line models that have a 2.5-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder that generates 290-hp.

On the inside, the K5 looks impressive, especially for being a non-luxury model. This sedan comes with high-quality cloth upholstery and detailed accents. You can also upgrade the K5 with amenities, including leather and a panoramic sunroof. Like the other models on this list, the K5 also comes with lots of connectivity, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2020 Kia Cadenza

Kia has also been able to shake up the large car class with the Cadenza. The Cadenza is a luxury-focused model that competes with the likes of the Toyota Avalon. The Cadenza isn’t the quickest in its class, but its refined 290-hp V6 engine helps to make up for that.

We’d say that the Cadenza is for those who prioritize comfort above all else. Leather-trimmed seats are standard on this model, and it comes with other amenities such as heated front seats. Many critics love the 2020 Cadenza, and U.S. News named it as one of the best cars for the money.

2020 Kia Stinger

Kia’s Stinger is also a luxury-focused model that’s handsome inside and out. But the Stringer is a performance-oriented car that can satisfy enthusiasts’ need for speed. The Stinger comes with a 255-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes everyday drives more fun. However, its available 365-hp 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 earns far more praise. It may not offer the same potency as some of its competitors, but the Stinger sure is enjoyable.

The K900 is here if you want to splurge. The K900 is a true luxury car that comes with many bells and whistles. This smooth operator gets its power from the same brawny V6 available on the Stinger. The K900’s inviting cabin is standard with Nappa leather upholstery and heated and ventilated front seats. It also comes with a long of active safety features, including driver attention monitoring.
