How much driving range does it get? How much does it cost? Here’s what you need to know about Chevrolet’s exciting new electric SUV, the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV.

Based on Chevy’s website, every Blazer EV midsize electric SUV trim should get at least 279 miles of driving range. That’s great by today’s standards, as most new EVs have between 200-250 miles of driving range. GM is partnering with Tesla so General Motors drivers can access Tesla’s massive supercharger network. This means that consumers will enjoy the best charging experience available thus far.
So, the Blazer EV has enough driving range to satisfy most consumers, but what about pricing? How much should drivers be ready to shell out for a new Blazer EV?

Chevrolet still hasn’t released pricing for the 2024 Chevy Blazer SS. Additionally, it could easily start at over $65,000 since it will be the most exciting configuration from an exterior design and performance perspective. The midsize electric SUV can go from 0-60 miles per hour in under 4.0 seconds when Wide Open Watts (or W.O.W.) performance mode is activated.
Similar to the GM Hummer EV’s Watts to Freedom (or W.T.F.) mode, Wide Open Watts allows the EV to temporarily accelerate faster than it normally would via a brief burst of power from its electric motors.
The midsize electric SUV space hasn’t quite taken off, especially with the lack of affordable models on the market. Even after the introduction of a new Tesla Model X base model, the midsize electric SUV still costs over $88K. Furthermore, the Blazer EV provides a more mainstream option that the average consumer can afford. Its eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty makes it an even more appealing option.
When can you order a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV?
According to Chevrolet’s website, the Blazer EV RS is the first trim to arrive this summer. The 2LT base model is scheduled to arrive this fall. Its fully loaded Blazer EV SS configuration is scheduled for spring 2024. So, the Blazer EV’s arrival is right on the horizon. Will it make a huge impact on the market, or will consumers ignore the intriguing new EV? Only time will tell.
