New paint color is the only Acadia change
According to Cars.com, what’s new with the 2023 GMC Acadia is the addition of three new exterior colors. They are Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Sterling Metallic, and Ultra Blue Metallic. Additionally, the SLT, AT4, and Denali trims now get a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel for the first time. Otherwise, the latest model is the same as the previous model year.
For example, powertrains remain unchanged, with almost every trim using a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 228 horsepower and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Optionally, the SLT and Denali trims can use a 3.6-liter V6 instead, good for 310 horsepower. In the 2023 Acadia lineup, only the off-road AT4 trim has a standard V6.

Additionally, a suite of advanced driver aids as part of the GMC Pro Safety Plus standard package is included. It adds automatic emergency braking, front/rear parking sensors, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, and a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
Buyers of the most luxurious Denali trim can access many more desirable amenities. For example, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, driver’s seat memory, and a wireless charging pad. Optional packages for the Denali trim are the Technology package and the Denali Ultimate package, which adds highlights like a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, and the Tow package.
