The truck will likely come with a four-door design that’s similar to the Ranger. The small bed will be perfect for those who want to carry 7,500 pounds of storage anywhere but might not be big enough for those who need more power. With 15 miles per gallon and 395 hp, the truck will boast an impressive range. Furthermore, the sleek design may make it look much bigger than it is. 

A 250-hp 2.0-liter engine and eight-speed automatic gears with front and all-wheel drive mean that it doesn’t have to stay on the road for picking up kids. It can withstand a healthy dose of adventure too. 

How much will it cost?

Ford has not yet announced what the price point will be. However, with the similar Ranger starting at $26,015 and the Transit Connect at $26,050, it’s safe to expect the Maverick to fall somewhere around the $26,000 range. However, with little known about the truck’s additional features, it’s hard to know exactly where the new truck will fall. 

Ford has only announced the base model, but as is the case with most of its other models, there will be options depending on what functions the potential driver’s desires. Infotainment, color schemes, and upgrades will likely be announced in the coming months. Until then, we only have speculation based on what we already have. 

However, the one detail that people want most, the release date, will likely come sooner rather than later.
