The Ram 1500 Tradesman is the most entry-level truck trim that you can get, starting out with an MSRP of $34,845. According to Ram Trucks, it’s ideal for people looking for an affordable workhorse without the unnecessary frills.

The Tradesman is available in crew cab or quad cab configurations and two different bed lengths. Standard features for the Tradesman include a 5-inch infotainment touchscreen, a rearview camera, remote keyless entry, and a choice between a six- or eight-cylinder.

Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star

The next trim above the Tradesman is the Big Horn/Lone Star Ram 1500, which has a starting MSRP of $39,190. Also available as a crew or quad cab, the upgrade will you get you chrome accents throughout the exterior, dual exhaust, and an available 8-inch infotainment touchscreen.

The interior of the Big Horn/Lone Star comes with impressive finishes and premium touches. The Big Horn/Lone Star also gets you class-exclusive, extra, in-floor storage.

Ram 1500 Laramie

Upgrade to the Laramie trim, at an MSRP of $42,990, and you’ll get those same chrome accents with leather-trimmed seats (with heat/cooling) in the interior. According to Tom O-Brien CJDR, the Laramie also gets an upgraded, 12-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Even the upgraded, 10-speaker audio system screams luxury.

Opt for the additional, sport package and you’ll get upgraded, 20-inch aluminum wheels and a performance hood. The Laramie also boasts a 7-inch, digital cluster display that is completely personalizable. 

Ram 1500 Rebel

The Rebel trim couldn’t have been named better since it’s best for truck lovers who also love to venture off the beaten path. It comes with all-terrain tires that are specifically designed to take you off-road. It’s the lowest trim available with LED headlamps, taillamps, and fog lights.

The Rebel Ram 1500 also comes with standard electronic locking rear differential and a factory lift. The interior makes a statement as well, with unique, laser-engraved accents and Rebel tire-tread inserts. Even loading the bed is easier than ever, with a fully dampened tailgate with an available key fob. The Ram 1500 Rebel trim has a starting MSRP of $44,490.

Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn

The Laramie Longhorn takes everything the Laramie trim already has and revs it up a bit, with a starting MSRP of $50,990. The Laramie Longhorn comes with more tech, comfort, and appearance upgrades, like two-tone paint colors and exterior, chrome accents.

According to 5th Gen Rams, it’s also the first trim to get standard, 20-inch aluminum wheels. On the interior, you’ll find leather and wood grain throughout. Even the dashboard is wrapped in leather, and you’ll find burned-in “Longhorn” branding marks throughout the interior, and premium LED lights throughout the exterior.

On the exterior, the Laramie Longhorn comes with front tow hooks and power running boards. The Laramie Longhorn is only available in crew cab, however.

Ram 1500 Limited

The Ram 1500 Limited is the top-of-the-line choice in trim levels. It has a starting MSRP of $53,690, but that gets you stylish upgrades throughout the entire truck, according to PickupTrucks.com.

The Ram Limited comes with a corrugated mesh grille, chrome accents, more advanced technology, heated seats in both the front and rear, as well as a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen. It also comes with automatic, power running boards and an available audio system that boasts more speakers than any other truck in its class.

Even hauling becomes more capable, with class-exclusive active-level four-corner air suspension and automatic load leveling tech. This trim proves that you really do get what you pay for.
