There are many television shows and movies that focus on the world of racecar driving. However, they often lean towards showcasing the cars and the high intensity of the races. Racing Wives delves into the daily lives of the racecar drivers and their families. The spouses of a few professional racers take the main spotlight, though there’s definitely some footage of their expensive cars on the show.

The cast of Racing Wives is by no means a collection of pampered housewives. Each has enjoyed their own success apart from their spouses, and one is even a professional racecar driver herself. Let’s take a look at the cast and their accomplishments.

Amber Balcaen

Amber is the only one of the cast who doesn’t have a spouse in the racecar driving scene. Instead, she’s the one behind the wheel. Both her father and grandfather were professional racers, which is where she got her love of racing.

Many people chose not to take her seriously because she was a woman in a male-dominated sport, but Amber is still dedicated to pursuing her dreams. She got her spot on the show thanks to her friend and co-star Samantha Busch. Amber hopes to be sponsored by NASCAR in the future. When she’s not behind the wheel, Amber manages her own company, Amber Balcaen Racing, and gives motivational keynote presentations.

Ashley Busch

Just like Amber, Ashley also faced challenges getting established in a sport commonly played by men. Ashley started playing polo at age 11 and went on to win multiple competitions across the globe. She married Kurt Busch, a professional NASCAR driver. Not long after, Ashley founded her own luxury bathing suit line. In addition to polo and horse, Ashley is also passionate about swimwear, giving each of her products unique designs and only using environmentally friendly materials.

Ashley has used her success to give back to multiple charities. She frequently hosts charity polo matches to raise money for those in need. A portion of her swimsuit sales goes towards clean water initiatives.

Samantha Busch

Samantha describes herself as a “boss babe”, dedicated to achieving her goals and helping other women to do the same. This is evidenced by her introducing her co-star Amber to the Racing Wives producers. Samantha is married to Kyle Busch, who is a professional NASCAR driver, owner of Kyle Busch Motorsports, and the brother of Kurt Busch.

Samantha operates the Kyle Busch Motorsports company alongside her husband. She also owns Murph Boutique, a women’s online clothing store. Both Samantha and Kyle are longtime IVF advocates and founded the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund in 2016. Samantha also runs her own lifestyle blog focusing on her struggles and triumphs as a family-oriented woman and business owner.

Whitney Dillon

The premiere of Racing Wives wasn’t the first time Whitney had been featured on the channel. She recently appeared on stage with the band Florida Georgia Line during the CMT Music Awards. Whitney is married to professional racer Austin Dillon. She started out her career as a cheerleader and went on to pursue professional modeling. She was awarded for Best Physique multiple times and was formerly the Monster Energy Girl model. She is the co-owner of a jewelry company and Girls Tour, a movement focused on empowering women of all ages. 

Mariel Swan

The other owner of the WM jewelry company and Girls Tour is Mariel, wife of Austin Dillon’s tire carrier Paul Swan. She has won Miss Tennessee multiple times and was a cheerleader for the NFL, where she met her best friend Whitney Dillon. In addition to being business partners and co-starring on Racing Wives, the two also run an online blog together.
