Within this score is a 55/100 for driving experience, a 56/100 for comfort, and a 55100 for value. Styling gets a slightly better score at 62/100.

Only 42% of Rogue Sport owners would buy their SUVs again. That’s far behind most other subcompact SUVs, including the Subaru Crosstrek, which 73% of people would buy again and the Mazda CX-30, which 65% of people would buy again.

What’s the deal with the Nissan Rogue Sport’s poor owner satisfaction ratings? It doesn’t exactly have a quick or powerful engine. Instead it comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 141 hp. This is matched to a continuously variable transmission, which is standard in the subcompact SUV class. There is no optional engine to upgrade to something a little – well, more. While its entry-level price is certainly an advantage of the Rogue Sport, perhaps it isn’t enough to make people happy they bought this particular Nissan SUV.

According to Consumer Reports, the 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport is a decent SUV. Consumer Reports gives the 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport an overall rating of 77 out of 100, with a road test score of 72. It gets 26 mpg combined, which is decent for an SUV. In addition, the 2022 Rogue Sport took 134 feet to stop from 60mph and goes from 0 to 60 in 10.2 seconds.

In addition, the Rogue Sport’s technology is comparable to other SUVs in its class. It comes standard with a 7-inch infotainment system. If you want USB ports though, you’ll have to pay extra.  It comes with automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert standard. The Rogue Sport SL trim level adds more safety features.

How much does the Rogue cost?

The 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport price starts at $24,260 and goes up to $31,615. Of course right now you’ll likely pay more than that. Edmunds reports that the average 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport SL buyer is paying $32,512.

The 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport is comfortable and roomy. It has a good amount of storage space and its interior is refined, which is probably why it has a reasonably good owner score for styling. Yet its weak engine makes driving the Rogue Sport not a whole lot of fun, and that’s leaving a bad taste in some people’s mouths.
