Soon you should be able to order the 2021 Chevy Tahoe. It is expected to be available in the middle of 2020. However, this is if COVID 19 doesn’t cause any delays. In the meantime, we have some exciting updates about the 2021 Tahoe to share!
Exciting 2021 Chevy Tahoe Updates
The all-new Chevy Tahoe is bigger and better. We know people say that about new stuff all the time. But the New Chevy Tahoe will be bigger and more powerful. It’s now longer and offers more cargo space.
We aren’t sure who thought the Tahoe needed more space, but whoever you are, you got your wish. Also, if the new Tahoe still doesn’t offer enough space, the Chevy Suburban is even bigger.
The Tahoe is now 6.7 inches longer than before with a 4.9” longer wheelbase that creates more legroom for passengers. The cargo space has also been increased from 94.7 to 122 cubic feet of cargo space.
The loading area of the trunk is also lower to make it easier to utilize upon packing and unpacking this SUV.
2021 Chevy Tahoe Ride Improvements
Along with more space, the new Tahoe also received a new independent rear suspension. This will provide a smoother and quieter ride. Chevy offered this new suspension to mitigate complaints with previous Tahoe models.
The Tahoe will also come with standard power. Two previous engines from older models are available. You can choose the 5.8-Liter V8 or the 6.2-Liter V8. The base engine provides 335 horsepower while the 6.2-Liter option pumps out 420 horsepower.
However, there is a third new option available. You can upgrade to the new turbocharged 3.0-Liter in-line six diesel option, which could increase fuel efficiency. So far, this engine has been found in the Chevy Silverado.
These engines have a new stop and start technology to help drivers save on fuel, but it hasn’t been put to the test yet.
You can also automatically or manually adjust the ride height of your Tahoe for enhanced comfort. The new air suspension and load-leveling feature can adjust the height by four inches.
2021 Chevy Tahoe Interior Updates
The new 10” infotainment center can connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is standard in most modern vehicles. However, there are also two 12” screens built into the back of the driver’s seat and front passenger’s seat.
You can take advantage of wireless charging for your smartphone, and your passengers will have multiple USB ports to choose from around each row of seats. Also, use the built-in Wi-fi hotspot to stay connected.
The heated and ventilated seats will also keep yourself and your passengers comfortable at all times.
Also, the new 2021 Chevy Tahoe has updated safety features, including forward collision prevention, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure assistance, and more. Use the 360 camera view to see exactly what’s happening all around your Tahoe.
The 2021 Chevy Tahoe is a large family vehicle with more than enough space to live in. Plus, it has the towing and hauling capabilities that other large trucks do. It has an improved ride and an all-new suspension that will be hard to compete against.
