Sure, two-door trucks are awesome, but they’re also becoming rarer. But thank the stars, for 2023 the recently redesigned Chevy Silverado is available as a two-door regular cab truck with a standard bed. Before the recent update, you couldn’t order a regular, two-door, cab in the Silverado. It’s now one of fewer two-door trucks available.

You can get a regular cab in two bed lengths

There are a total of four bed options available for the 2023 Silverado trucks and three cab sizes. You can get a regular cab with either a standard bed or long bed, a crew cab in short or standard bed, and the 2.5- door double cab with a standard bed.

The regular cab version of the 2023 Chevy Silverado can be ordered in standard bed or long bed versions. The standard bed is 79.4 inches, or about 6.5 feet. When you got to the Chevy website, it’s simply called the regular cab standard bed, truck. It’s anything but regular, though, in today’s world of giant four-door trucks that are by far the most common sold today. The two door actually has a lot of room in the cab, with more than 43 inches of head room, and with 44.5 inches of leg room, you can stretch out. It also seats three on the bench seat, which does have a fold-down console with cup holders if you need that.

It doesn’t, though, offer the MultiFlex tailgate of the fancier trim levels. GMC version is the Sierra Pro, according to Car and Driver.

The two-door is the cheapest Silverado you can buy

The two versions of the regular cab Silverado are the cheapest versions of the Silverado you can buy. The standard bed version starts at $37,395, while the long bed starts at $37,595. If you order the short bed, you can only get the 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. However, the 5.3-liter V8 is an option on the long bed version, though it adds about $6,500 to the price.

The popular options on these two trucks are the work truck convenience package, which adds necessities like cruise control, the safety package that adds blind spot alerts and rear cross traffic braking, or the dark essentials package that adds black Silverado trim and emblems. You can add Apple CarPlay and Wireless Android Auto, as well as some other worksite-based options like a household outlet in the bed or a towing package.

The LTD is gone for 2023

For most of 2022 Chevy was still offering a 2021 pre-facelift version of the Silverado truck at a slight discount that the brand called the Silverado LTD. While it was the same truck underneath, it had the face and interior of the 2021 model. That version has disappeared as the new production updates have taken over.
