You Can Own the Milestone 1,750,000th Corvette For Only $200!
As if it needed any more hype Chevy is shouting from the rooftops that the 1,750,000 Corvette was just assembled last week. Yes, the Bowling Green assembly plant marked the milestone by painting it Arctic White with an Adrenaline Red interior. The significance of those colors is that they pay homage to the first Corvette that rolled off of the assembly line on June 30, 1953. A total of 300 were built that first year, all of them Polo White with red interiors. Back then you could get any combo you wanted as long as it was Polo White with a red interior.
So to add to the celebration you can enter to win the very milestone C8 Corvette just built. It will be raffled off September 4. Tickets are $200 each and limited to 1,500. You can see what you’re potentially buying for that $200 at the National Corvette Museum.

The milestone Corvette will be on display next to the 1 millionth Corvette made in 1992 and the 1.5 millionth one built in 2009. Just in case you wondered, both of those milestone Corvettes are also white with red interiors. Both of these Corvettes were victims of the sinkhole that befell the Museum in 2014. Now, both have been restored back to their former glory.
“This type of milestone only comes around every 10 or so years for Corvette,” said Kai Spande, Bowling Green Assembly plant director. “For this landmark achievement to also be one of the early mid-engines is just awesome for us and for our customers. It’s an amazing time to be part of the Chevrolet brand.”
The new Corvette represents a big technical departure over its predecessor
The milestone mid-engine Vette features the Z51 performance package. It also has the 3LT equipment group, 5-trident spoke machined-face sterling silver aluminum wheels. Finally, the engine appearance package, front lift adjustable height with memory are a few more options. So this is no stripper Corvette. With a beginning MSRP of $58,900, the new Corvette represents a big technical departure over its predecessor.
The 0-60 mph times are under 3 seconds, powered by the 6.2-liter LT2 V8. which churns out 495 HP (502 PS / 369 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque with the optional Z51 package.
“We are appreciative of Chevrolet for aligning the production of one of our Corvette raffle cars so that it would become this milestone in production,” said Dr. Sean Preston, President, and CEO of the National Corvette Museum. “It’s exciting that in just 11 years Bowling Green Assembly has produced 250,000 Corvettes. No other sports car can claim that kind of production volume or enthusiast following.”
