On the inside, the Forester pleases with its distinctly spacious car cabin. The base Forester priorities comfort and simplicity first, but you can climb the higher trim levels for a more luxury-focused experience. Plus, this crossover’s standard tech is impressive too. The Forester’s infotainment system comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes standard with Subaru’s EyeSight advanced safety suite.

Why the 2020 Toyota RAV4 shines bright

The RAV4 is still one of the nation’s best-selling crossovers because of its upscale feel and comfortable nature. And one advantage the RAV4 has over other models in its class is Toyota’s signature dependability. Like the Forester, the RAV4 is also an ideal choice for fuel economy; it gets an overall 27 mpg. 

The RAV4 gets its power from a 203-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine gets a tad loud as you push the RAV4 to highway speeds, but that’s not a huge drawback. For more power as well as fuel economy, the RAV4 Hybrid presents itself as the better choice. The upper-level RAV4 trims and the RAV4 Hybrid are standard with AWD; lower level RAV4 models have AWD available as an option.

Reviews on the 2020 RAV4’s interior are mixed. Compared to previous model years, the RAV4 is more stylish on the inside and less bland. But some might find that its plastic finishings cheapen its overall experience. On the other hand, the RAV4’s in-car electronics are certainly a bonus. It comes standard with smartphone integration apps and a wifi hotspot. It also comes with a long list of advanced safety features.
