The Impreza and the Legacy are extremely functional 

Both the Legacy and Impreza are versatile sedans that are standard with all-wheel-drive. These models also offer high-quality car cabins. Although, the Impreza gets extra points for versatility since it is available as either a sedan or a hatchback. 

If you opt for the sedan version of the Impreza, you will find that it’s generous on space, especially for a compact model. But for the most available cargo space on the Impreza, you will want to go with the hatchback version. Either option is comfortable. 

For more interior space, you might want to strongly consider the Legacy over the Impreza. The Legacy is a midsize sedan that boasts a spacious and luxury-focused cabin. Upgrades like Nappa leather and ventilated are available as options on the Legacy but not on the Impreza.

Subaru does a great job of equipping its vehicles with in-car technology features. Both the Impreza and the Legacy come standard with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth. These sedans also feature sharp touchscreen infotainment displays but the Legacy comes with larger screen options.  

There are also many advanced safety features available on the Impreza and the Legacy. Subaru’s EyesSight suite comes standard on the Legacy and includes items such as forward-collision warning and lane keep assist. These features are available as a package on the Impreza.
