Mercedes-Benz is one of the more popular luxury car brands, but like many other luxury car brands, a Mercedes is usually pretty expensive. That said, for customers who aren’t afraid of used cars, there are plenty of affordable Mercedes around.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK is a great used luxury SUV

Like U.S. News said, the 2012 GLK was the best luxury compact SUV in 2012, and it continues to be a good deal for customers who are on a budget. On average, a used 2012 GLK sells for between $13,000 to $14,000, and it still has plenty of luxurious offerings.

U.S. News said that the 2012 GLK does have an infotainment system as standard, though it’ll obviously be outdated compared to more modern infotainment systems.

Since it’s a Mercedes-Benz SUV, it’ll also seat its five passengers pretty comfortably. U.S. News also wrote that the interior of the 2012 GLK used synthetic leather upholstery as standard, so that’ll make the GLK even more comfortable. 

In terms of its performance, the 2012 GLK only came with a 268-hp V6. Furthermore, U.S. News said that the 2012 GLK handled well and it had a very comfortable ride quality. Overall, U.S. News gave this model year of the GLK an 8.9 out of 10. 

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is loaded with features

This model year of the S-Class is over 10 years old now, and it’s finally affordable for most Americans. U.S. News wrote that a used 2010 S-Class should cost between $16,000 to $20,000.

This is a significant discount from its original base price, which made sense at the time since the S-Class was loaded with high-tech features that weren’t common on cars at the time. Some of those rare features included smart safety systems, according to U.S. News.

That said, most of those features are now pretty common on cars, according to U.S. News, but despite that, the 2010 S-Class is still a very comfortable luxury car that’s packed with other great features.

On top of that, since the 2010 S-Class had the choice between a V8 and a twin-turbocharged V12, pretty much every used 2010 S-Class on the market will be a powerful car that’s capable of some impressive acceleration and top speeds.

For those reasons and more, U.S. News gave the 2010 S-Class an overall score of 9.0 out of 10. 

Another affordable luxury sedan

Another great but affordable Mercedes-Benz, according to U.S. News, is the 2012 E-Class, which costs between $14,000 to $17,000 today. U.S. News wrote that the 2012 E-Class was the best midsize luxury sedan on the market at the time, and while it’s obviously outdated, it’s still a really great car.

One of the great things about the 2012 E-Class was its interior, and U.S. New said that it came with a 7.0-inch touch screen display as standard.

On top of that, U.S. News said that the 2012 E-Class had an “elegant exterior and interior design.” However, another great thing about the 2012 E-Class was how many options Mercedes-Benz offered customers.

U.S. News said that there were, ‘sedan, coupe, convertible, and wagon variants” of the 2012 E-Class, and there were plenty of engine options, too.

There were two V6 options and three V8 options, and depending on the engine choice, drivers could get between 302 to 550 hp from their engines. As a result of all these great features and options, U.S. News gave the 2012 E-Class an overall score of 9.1 out of 10.
