In many ways, trucks are considered to be one of the most traditional vehicles. However, as time goes on, technology and innovation are revolutionizing the way many things are done. Believe it or not, consumers will soon have the opportunity to invest in a Cybertruck from Tesla. Since Tesla has revealed plans for the 2022 Cybertruck, many drivers are wondering what this model will look like completed and what this means for the future of trucks. Take a closer look at what the public already knows about the new and innovative design and why so many drivers might be interested in investing in the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla’s vision for the 2022 Cybertruck

Over the past few months, Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, has been teasing the public and hinting toward a new and futuristic project, and, as it would turn out, Musk and Tesla actually seem to be making good headway. When Tesla first revealed their plans for the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck, some drivers and consumers may have been reluctant or hesitant to embrace the vehicle. Car and Driver went as far as to say it looked like the new model could have been dropped off by aliens.

However, Musk recently confirmed that engineering for the Cybertruck is officially complete and designs are set to go. Tesla is now preparing to order the necessary equipment to make the company’s contemporary vision truly come to life.

Part of that process will include using an 8,000-ton press for the truck’s impressive long truck bed. MotorTrend shared what Musk has disclosed with the public regarding the new model, and Musk excitedly revealed, “If we get lucky, we will be able to do a few deliveries by the end of this year. But I expect volume production to be in 2022.”

What are some of the highly anticipated highlights and advantages of the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck?

It only takes one glance at the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck to see that this truck is like no other vehicle. The scratch and dent-resistant stainless steel give the vehicle a polished and sleek look, but what is even more impressive is what is on the interior of the car. Drivers will have the option to select up to two additional motors giving the vehicle the maximum amount of speed and power.

Increased acceleration, higher towing capacity, and extended driving ranges aren’t the only benefits the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck will be able to provide drivers. The Tesla Cybertrucks will come equipped with adjustable air suspension that will be able to give the vehicle more than one foot of ground clearance.

The almost 7-foot cargo bed has the ability to move 3,500 pounds. Another benefit of the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck is the option to seat up to six people. Fans and enthusiasts of Tesla will be pleased to hear that each model will come with a 250-kW charging cable. On that note, Tesla will also be giving customers the option to add on Tesla’s Full Self-Driving feature. The 2022 Tesla Cybertruck is definitely going to give drivers and consumers a lot to think about, but does the new and innovative model face any competition?

What other competition does it face?

Looking ahead, it is hard to say for certain what rivalries the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck might face. At the moment, the Rivian R1T and 2021 Bollinger B2 are the only cars and concepts to come close. However, both General Motors and Ford have shared that they too plan to have an electrified truck model within the next two years. When looking at the finances, the 2022 Tesla Cybertruck is estimated to cost anywhere between $39,900 and $69,900. Depending on drivers’ personal preferences and engine selections, this incredibly futuristic model could be the perfect investment for them.
