Instead of simply modeling the 1,000-HP Equus Throwback on a specific version of the Corvette Stingray, the company took various elements of various classic Stingrays and combined them into a single-vehicle. The 1,000-HP Equus Throwback isn’t just a showpiece. The vehicle is also built to perform. Equus equipped the vehicle with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine (the same engine found in the Corvette ZR1) The engine has 640 hp (477 kW) and 605 lb-ft (819 Nm) of torque.

A six-speed dual-clutch gearbox allows all four tires to grab onto the asphalt, allowing for tight turns and rapid acceleration. Taking the 1,000-HP Equus Throwback to your local racetrack is the best way to experience the vehicle’s ability to go from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
