Zuckerberg misses the mark with wife’s custom Porsche Cayenne minivan
Most of the time, it falls on the mom to tote kids around to practices in minivans. Mark Zuckerberg tried to set his wife apart from the pickup line by building a custom Porsche Cayenne minivan. However, it’s just not pretty.

First of all, the term soccer mom shouldn’t paint a picture of lame minivans and boring errands. Families need to get their kids, pets, and random practice gear around town. Minivans are practical and extremely useful.
In some cases, they’re better than SUVs. Even Beyonce has a Chrysler Pacifica for driving her kids around.
However, Mark Zuckerberg isn’t helping the case for soccer moms after building a custom Porsche Cayenne minivan for his wife, Priscilla Chan.
While it’s unique as the brand’s first three-row vehicle, there are a few issues. First of all, the long sloping roofline provides an awkward style and probably limits utility space.
There are two bucket seats in the second row, and it’s unclear how many seats are in the rear. If there are only six seats, then there isn’t much of an advantage to an SUV or van with five seats.
It does have sliding doors, which are beneficial for loading larger pieces of cargo. Plus, it’s safer for kids when they enter and exit the vehicle.
Priscilla jokes that at least she won’t be late for school. The Porsche Cayenne minivan has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with 631 hp. At least the stretched wheelbase will provide a smoother ride for the entire family while it speeds across town.
Mark Zuckerburg shared that Priscilla kept asking for a minivan and he designed something that he’s pretty sure should exist.
However, instead of taking the time and money to build this project, he could have purchased a larger luxury option that already exists. Once again, I point to Beyonce’s Chrysler Pacifica.
