According to Ford, there is a recall for the 2019 Ranger as the transmission has problems with the shifter interlock. Because of this, there were instances of the 2019 Ford Ranger slipping out of park. There are eight recalls for this model of what is typically one of the best pickup trucks on the market. 

These Ford vehicles also have problems with the powertrain control module, which causes the truck to sometimes buck when driving at low speeds. However, simply reprogramming the PCM typically helps. Regarding cosmetics, the 2019 Ford Ranger also has paint issues as it seemingly becomes damaged quicker than other Ford vehicles. Unfortunately, fixing this requires repainting the vehicle. 

Overall, the Ford Mustang is one of the best sports cars just like the Ranger is among the best pickup trucks. However, these vehicles are best avoided as they prove Ford’s less-than-reliable reputation.
