Mechanics also suggest that people avoid the 2008-2010 models of the Pathfinder. Though Nissan claimed to fix the issue, it seems that reports still came out. However, there were fewer complaints than with the 2005-2007 model years. This specific problem seems to have gone away with the fourth-generation models.
