The Kia Soul 2023 has a 2.0-liter engine under the hood with a maximum output of 147 horsepower. The Jeep Renegade 2023 has a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 177 horsepower. Regarding transmissions, the front-wheel drive Kia uses a continuously variable, while the new Renegade has a nine-speed automatic. Also of note is that the new Kia Soul has better fuel economy than the Renegade Jeep.
The Kia Soul 2023 interior is better than the Jeep Renegade 2023’s
The new Kia Soul interior is one of the best for an SUV in its price range. Regarding space, it seats up to five. In addition, the new Kia Soul has lots of cargo space with room for seven suitcases with the seats up and about 20 with them folded down. While the 2023 Renegade Jeep’s rear seats fold completely flat, there is much less room for cargo.
The Kia Soul’s interior is also better than the Renegade’s because of its technology options. The Kia comes with a 10.3-inch touchscreen for all models besides the base. However, the Renegade has an 8.4 inch. Both are fine, but this demonstrates how much more buyers get from the Kia for less money.

Though not a complete redesign, the new Kia Soul has a different set of headlights and a brand-new front grille. These changes are important in the comparison because some feel it’s time for the Renegade to get a new look. The new Kia Soul feels and looks fresh in comparison.
Both the new Kia Soul and Renegade Jeep are excellent SUVs. However, the Kia Soul is a better option for people not looking to go off-road. Buyers get many of the same features, if not better, for a lower asking price. The 2023 Kia Soul starts at $19,890, while the 2023 Jeep Renegade’s price tag is $29,995.
