This New Nissan Is Solid Competition for the 2023 Toyota RAV4
The 2023 Toyota RAV4 has much to love and is one of the most popular SUVs on the market. However, though considerably less discussed, the Nissan Rogue 2023 is solid competition for the RAV4 Toyota. This is true primarily because of the Nissan Rogue interior. Still, it competes with this Toyota SUV in most other ways. In addition, the Nissan Rogue price might entice some as it’s a little lower.
The 2023 Nissan Nissan Rogue interior is better
The cabin of the new Rogue is largely considered better than the 2023 RAV4 interior. This is mainly true because there is a tad bit more space within the Nissan SUV. Not only is this true regarding legroom, but it’s also true for storage. While the RAV4 Toyota is great in this regard, the 2023 Nissan Rogue has storage cubbies throughout the cabin and a dual-level dashboard.
The new Nissan Rogue is also competition because it offers similar interior technology as the RAV4. The Nissan SUV has a standard 8-inch touch screen, which is the same as the Toyota option. However, the upgraded infotainment system is slightly smaller on the Nissan. It has a maximum output of 201 horsepower and uses a continuously variable transmission. While not everyone enjoys this transmission type, some believe it enhances the driving experience.
The new RAV4 Toyota has a similar 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine under its hood with a maximum output of 203 horsepower. Regarding speed, the two SUVs are also similar. The 2023 Nissan Rogue accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.8 seconds. The Toyota option does the feat in a reported 8.3 seconds, making the Nissan SUV just a little faster.
The two SUVs have similar prices
The Nissan Rogue price is similar to that of the new RAV4 Toyota. In fact, it’s a bit lower than the more famous SUV. The new Rogue starts at $28,695, while the 2023 Toyota RAV4 has an opening price of $29,310. Of course, this minor difference in cost is not a major reason to pick the Nissan SUV over the Toyota, but it’s a factor.
Both the Rogue and the new Toyota RAV4 are considered great vehicles. However, this Nissan is a direct competitor to the RAV4 for more reasons than one. Not only is it more spacious, but it’s similar to the Toyota in most ways that matter to buyers. The RAV4 Toyota is iconic, but this Nissan SUV deserves a second look from buyers.
