With Super Cruise, drivers have access to over 200,000 miles of mapped roads in the U.S. and Canada. Some vehicles have up to 400,000 miles of compatible roads.
What vehicles have GM’s hands-free technology?
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 does not have the Super Cruise feature, but many other General Motors vehicles do. In fact, even some non-GM vehicles include similar hands-free driving features. Perhaps one of the most iconic SUVs to have the technology is the Cadillac Escalade. The full-size vehicle got the hands-free technology in 2021, which is after some other models already had it.

If a steering wheel light is included in the instrument cluster, it means you are lucky enough to have Super Cruise. Additionally, there should be a Super Cruise button on the steering wheel along with a driver attention camera on top. You’ll know when the technology is active when you see a green light on top of the steering wheel.
Of course, before buying the vehicle, you can ask the dealership if it has Super Cruise or if you can add it.
