Luckily, it’s mostly going out on top as it has solid ratings in all but one area – – resale value. Unfortunately, the same is true for the 2023 Nissan Titan and other recent models.

The 2024 Nissan Titan is one of the best pickup trucks in many ways, but not in resale value. According to J.D. Power, the full-size truck is only ‘average’ in this regard. The marketing research firm gave it a 76 out of 100. Of course, there are much worse ratings a vehicle could get, but most people would expect one that costs as much as the 2024 Nissan Titan to be better in this category. The same is true for the 2023 Nissan Titan.
Luckily, this may not be a deal breaker for most people. The fact that it’s ‘average’ means that it’s comparable to other vehicles in its segment. Additionally, this is only important to people who don’t tend to keep their vehicles for very long. It’s also important to note that Nissan isn’t an automaker people know for having vehicles with high resale values.
The new Titan is one of the best pickup trucks for performance
One of the areas the 2024 Nissan Titan excels in is driving experience. Of course, performance is one of the most significant aspects of a vehicle’s driving experience rating. It uses a 5.6-liter V8 engine that makes 400 horsepower and has a torque of 413 lb-ft. The new Titan has rear and four-wheel drive configurations and uses a nine-speed automatic transmission.
This is also a decent full-size truck for speed, as it accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 7.3 seconds. The truck averages 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 MPG on the highway. Buyers will be happy to know that the 2024 Nissan Titan can tow up to 9,290 pounds with the right equipment. The 2023 Nissan Titan offers similar performance.
Many people may wonder why the automaker is discontinuing the Titan. It seems the biggest reason is that the plant where Nissan builds the Titan will be used to produce EVs. Still, beyond resale value, the 2024 Nissan Titan is a pretty solid full-size truck. It starts at $45,770.
