The Jeep Wagoneer has been on the market for a while now. However, some auto mechanics have expressed frustration over the full-size SUV. This is both due to various issues as well as it not being the easiest vehicle to fix. Recently, a mechanic with a sizable following questioned why anyone would want the expensive Jeep Vehicle as it’s not among the best luxury SUVs.

Auto mechanics say the Jeep Wagoneer is not one of the best luxury SUVs

Auto mechanics have been complaining about the Jeep Wagoneer since it’s been on the market. This is despite some calling it one of the best luxury SUVs. According to Daily Dot, the TikTok account Patches (@invertedcamshafts) recently posted a clip of a Jeep Wagoneer that someone had brought in for repairs.

The video doesn’t highlight the exact issue with the Jeep, but they added a text overlay that noted its $100,000 price tag. Making matters worse, the Jeep Wagoneer had only 8,000 miles on the odometer. As the video goes on, viewers can see that the SUV has been partly disassembled, which hints at a significant issue that probably requires multiple auto mechanics.

Of course, auto mechanics often highlight that luxury vehicles suffer from issues with reliability. However, the Jeep Wagoneer happens to be among the worst despite its high price tag. Some of the most notable issues with the Jeep vehicle impact the engine, which is never a cheap fix. Despite the reported issues, the Wagoneer has become more popular as its sales are up from last year.

The mechanic later commented on the video and said that the issue was an “Electrical problem with engine wiring harness.” They then said it had to be replaced.

Many owners and auto mechanics in the comments shared their experiences with the Wagoneer. One person said, “2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Obsidian Series III owner here. Biggest POS I have ever owned cost 121k value is 53k.”

Still, it should be noted that many people swear by the Wagoneer and believe it’s worth the hefty price. Additionally, some auto mechanics believe it’s on par with other models in its class.
