However, the downside to this decision is that many of the best luxury cars have shorter lifespans than other vehicles. Still, there is one luxury automaker that stands out from the rest. The car brand in question is Lexus, which makes both new and used models of the GX solid options. 

Lexus makes some of the best luxury cars

ISeeCars recently released a study that highlighted vehicles and automakers likely to last up to 250,000 miles. Of course, most of the best luxury cars missed the mark in this area. However, Lexus made the list of the seven best automakers to achieve this impressive feat. It came in at number six, right ahead of Ford. 

According to the study, Lexus models have a 9.7 percent chance of lasting or surpassing 250,000 miles. It’s also 1.1 times more likely to reach this milestone than average vehicles, including the best luxury cars. As most people would guess, Toyota dominated the list of automakers, and its cars have a 17 percent chance of going this great distance. Toyota happens to be two times more likely to reach 250,000 miles on the odometer. 

People looking for the best luxury cars will be happy to know that Lexus has other bragging rights. This is because the Lexus GX ranked 9th out of 30 vehicles likely to reach the milestone, making both new and used models great options for buyers. It has a 20.7 percent chance. The Toyota Tundra topped the list, and the Ram 1500 was last.
