Cadillac recently announced that the latest edition to its all-electric SUV lineup will be the 2025 OPTIQ. Though smaller than the rest, the automaker estimates it will grant solid range and power. Additionally, this all-new SUV packs quite a bit into its small frame and comes at a more affordable price than most Cadillac vehicles. This could become one of the top SUVs in the entry level luxury segment. It should give the Audi q6 e-tron a run for its money.

Cadillac says the OPTIQ will be swift and offer competitive charge times

The 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ will make for a solid all-electric SUV because it’ll offer competitive range and power as well as advanced driving features. According to Cadillac, the OPTIQ will come standard with a dual motor all-wheel drive setup that makes 300 horsepower. It will have 354 lb-ft of instant torque.

Regarding range, the automaker says drivers can expect 300 miles on a full charge. The 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ uses an 85 kWh battery that can add 79 miles in 10 minutes with a DC fast charger. Buyers will also like that the OPTIQ has a dual-level charge cord, which means owners can use either a three or four-prong outlet. Not only that, but it comes with Regen on demand and one-pedal driving.

It’ll be one of the top SUVs for design

Cadillac makes many of the top SUVs in the luxury segment. This new all-electric SUV is no different as it stands out from its competitors inside and out. The automaker says the OPTIQ has the “most progressive Cadillac interior,” as much of its fabrics come from 100% recycled materials. This is also a spacious SUV as it offers segment best second-row space and cargo capacity. However, there is no frunk on the Cadillac OPTIQ.

Regarding technology, this should be a contender for the best all-electric SUV at its price point. There’s no Apple CarPlay, but it does include Google Built-In. It also features a 33-inch diagonal display that offers 9k resolution. The Cadillac OPTIQ comes standard with a 19-speaker AKG sound system with Dolby Atmos.

There are two trims for the 2025 OPTIQ all-electric SUV – luxury and sport. The automaker says production will begin in the fall, and the SUV will start at $54,000. This is more affordable than the similar Audi q6 e-tron. Expect more details about the new all-electric SUV soon.
