The Halloween season is here, so many people are looking for attractions to get them in the spooky mood. Naturally, most people look for nearby haunted houses and mazes to get their fix of ghosts, goblins, and maybe even creepy clowns. However, southern California has a haunted car wash that’s causing quite a bit of chatter with people looking for thrills. Of course, most experts don’t support using a drive-thru car wash, but many drivers rely on this method to clean their vehicles.

This drive-in car wash has everything you need for the Halloween season

For many people, the Halloween season is a highlight of the year. It’s a time for costumes, trick-or-treating, and…going to a drive-in car wash. Since 2020, Southern California has hosted this now iconic haunted attraction that offers an “immersive, interactive drive-through experience.” Simply called Southern California’s Haunted Car Wash, this is one of the best Halloween attractions money can buy for people near Anaheim, Lakewood, or Duarte.

As with any drive-in car wash, patrons simply sit back and let the machines clean their vehicles. However, they are treated to an array of spooky performers dressed in creepy costumes. Of course, there are some vehicle restrictions. They don’t allow vehicles taller than seven feet and two inches, models with lowered suspension or extra wide tires, models with more than four wheels, etc. Naturally, all passengers must remain inside the car, and the car wash isn’t responsible for any vehicle damage.

Of course, the cost of this drive-in car wash isn’t cheap. It’s $30 per vehicle. This haunted car wash is available on select nights until November 2nd. However, readers should note that automatic car washes aren’t always the best for your vehicle. In some cases, they can cause damage in several ways, including damage to the paint, suspension, and even wheel alignment. For more reading on automatic car washes, check out our article.
