According to Edmunds, the 2009 Honda S2000 has a 2.2-liter inline-four engine that makes 237 horsepower and has a torque of 162 lb-ft. This is a rear-wheel drive car that uses a six-speed manual transmission.
Regarding speed, this used S2000 accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in only 5.8 seconds. The car’s top speed is 147 miles per hour. For comparison, the 2009 Mazda Miata needs between 6.8 and 7.5 seconds for the feat.
Of course, the 2009 S2000 is a far cry from the cars of today regarding interior technology. However, this may be part of the charm for traditional sports car lovers.
