The 2023 Ford Expedition is considered one of the best full-size SUVs on the market. However, it’s not the only quality option buyers can choose from. The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban also has much going for itself. Not only does it offer similar performance to the new Ford Expedition, but it comes out on top regarding the interior.

The Chevy Suburban interior has more space
The Chevy Suburban interior is similar to that of the 2023 Ford Expedition. Both SUVs seat up to seven with room to spare, but the Chevrolet option has a decent bit more cargo space. However, the Ford Expedition interior technology is better than that of the 2023 Chevrolet Suburban. The Chevy Suburban interior only comes standard with an eight-inch touchscreen, and the upper trims have a 10.2-inch display. However, the Expedition has a standard 12-inch screen, which buyers can make into a vertical screen. Both SUVs offer a rear entertainment system.
The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban offers similar performance
The Chevy Suburban may not be as powerful as the 2023 Ford Expedition. However, the two rivals are pretty similar in this regard. The 2023 Chevrolet Suburban comes standard with a 5.3-liter V8 engine with a maximum output of 355 horsepower. It uses a 10-speed automatic transmission and can be rear or all-wheel drive. This is nearly identical to the Chevy Suburban 2022.
The new Expedition has a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine under its hood. It has a maximum output of 380 horsepower and also uses a 10-speed transmission. Regarding speed, the Chevy Suburban gets from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.6 seconds. However, the 2023 Ford Expedition does so in 6.2 seconds, but higher trims are much quicker.
