The 2024 Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron may be a new nameplate in the German automaker’s lineup. Still, it serves as the familiar but updated replacement for the original five-passenger e-tron that’s been around since the EV SUV was introduced for the 2019 model year. With a new name, refreshed styling, and a larger battery pack, the Q8 e-tron is now more compelling than ever, and the Sportback variant serves as the more stylish, coupe-styled version of the electric SUV.

So, how much can buyers expect to pay for the Q8 Sportback e-tron, both at its base level and top trim with available add-ons and packages? Here’s how much a fully loaded 2024 Q8 Sportback e-tron costs.

The 2024 Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron starts at $77,800

The 2024 Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron starts at $77,800 MSRP for the base Premium model, which is $4,400 more than the more traditionally styled non-Sportback version.

The Q8 Sportback e-tron is powered by dual electric motors on each axle. Thus it’s all-wheel drive as standard, with a 114-kWh battery pack. It delivers 402 horsepower, with Audi claiming a 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds and a driving range of 296 to 300 miles on a single charge.

The Q8 Sportback e-tron offers a charging capacity of up to 170 kW. The automaker claims rejuicing its batteries takes about 13 hours at 9.6-kW, while DC charging at 170-kW can replenish its range from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes.

Audi states the steering and suspension have been updated for the 2024 model to “sharpen the responsiveness” of the model. As standard, the Q8 Sportback e-tron comes with 20-inch wheels, an adaptive air suspension, an eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, synthetic leather upholstery, four-zone climate control, dual center displays with the larger unit sized at 10.1-inches, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Standard driver’s aids include adaptive cruise control, front and rear automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assist.

The 2024 Q8 Sportback e-tron Launch Edition commands $91,950

Those seeking the ultimate upscale experience in the 2024 Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron can opt for the top-trim Launch Edition, which starts at $91,950 MSRP.

This top model sports 22-inch wheels, dual-pane acoustic glass on its side windows, a hands-free power tailgate, heated front and rear seats with massage functions for front passengers, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, genuine leather upholstery, LED interior lighting, rear door sunshades, and mesh anthracite interior trim elements. Additional driver’s aids include a head-up display and a 360-degree view monitor.

Options, packages, and add-ons for the Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron

Available options are fairly limited for the Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, so buyers can expect to pay near the asking price for 2024 models, even with some optional extras included.

The standard Premium model is available in six exterior colors. Only Magnet Gray is standard, with the remaining options adding $595 when selected. Three styles of leatherette upholstery are available as standard, with Dark Born Natural Sycamore Wood or Volcano Ash Gray wood interior trim offered at no cost (though they can only be paired with select upholstery choices).

The standard 20-inch wheels can be replaced by 19-inch, aerodynamic units when selecting the no-cost option Ultra Package, which also adds black exterior trim and “ultra” badging. The Black Optic Exterior Package ($1,000) equips the Q8 Sportback e-tron with all-black exterior trim, rear side airbags with illuminated seat buckles commanding $400, and a trailer hitch offered for $750.

Upper models can also be fitted with the AC Charging Package ($1,850), which adds a second AC charge port on the passenger side and a 19.2kW onboard charger.

A fully loaded 2024 Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron Launch Edition, which includes optional exterior paint, the AC Charging Package, trailer hitch, and rear side airbag bundle, rings in at $96,740.

The base Q8 Sportback e-tron is priced higher than some five-passenger luxury EV SUVs like the $67,550 Genesis Electrified GV70, $52,630 Tesla Model Y, or $58,590 Cadillac Lyriq. However, it is more affordable than the 2023 BMW iX, which starts over $85,000, and even a fully loaded model is far less pricey than the $105,000 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.
