How Much Does a Fully Loaded 2024 Kia Soul Cost?
The Kia Soul debuted in 2009, and for the better part of two decades, it has served as one of the Korean automaker’s smallest and most affordable options. The Soul now serves as the funkier-styled subcompact SUV counterpart to the attractive but not-quite-as-hip Kia Seltos in the brand’s lineup. So, how much can shoppers expect to pay for a new Kia Soul in its base guise and top trim decked out with all the bells and whistles? Here’s how much a 2024 Kia Soul costs.
The 2024 Kia Soul starts at $19,990 MSRP
The 2024 Kia Soul is available in four trims — LX, S, EX, and GT-Line — with prices starting at $19,990 MSRP.
The Kia Soul was completely revamped for the 2023 model year, so updates to the 2024 model are limited. An EX Designer Package is now available to upgrade the EX model’s looks, and the Soul’s key fob now turns to a “sleep mode” after 40 seconds as a theft-deterrent.
Along with last year’s update, the Soul is now powered exclusively by a 147-horsepower 2.0-liter inline-four developing 132 lb-ft of torque. The inline-four pairs with a continuously variable transmission, and the Soul is exclusively front-wheel drive.
Standard exterior features of the Soul include 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, remote keyless entry, and automatic headlights. Inside, the cabin features cloth seats, an 8-inch touchscreen and digital gauge cluster, a six-speaker sound system, a single USB port, and 60/40-split folding rear seats.
The Soul’s standard driver aids include forward collision mitigation, lane-departure mitigation, a driver attention warning, automatic high beams, and a rear occupant alert.
The EX tops the Soul range at $24,290 MSRP
The EX model is the premier 2024 Kia Soul model with a starting price of $24,290.
The Soul EX’s upgrades include 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors, a sunroof, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, upgraded cloth upholstery, a cargo area cover, and a rear center armrest. Additional features include a power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, dual USB ports, and push-button start. Blind-sport warning with rear cross-traffic alert is also standard.
Options and accessories for the 2024 Kia Soul
Optional packages available for the 2024 Kia Soul are primarily dependent on trim.
The LX can be fitted with blind-spot collision avoidance assist, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, and alloy wheels for $500.
The GT-Line trim is available with the GT-Line Designer Package, a no-cost appearance package. Including the package deletes the sunroof but adds two-tone exterior paint (Surf Blue body panels and a black roof) and an exclusive black/white interior upholstery and trim.
The GT-Line Technology Package ($2,400) includes a host of upgrades for the midrange model. They include heated front seats, a Harman Kardon audio system, full LED exterior lighting, navigation-based smart cruise control, and a dual-level cargo board/cover. Additional amenities include junction turning detection for the automatic emergency braking system, intelligent cruise control, and a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat with two-way lumbar support.
The EX is available with the Designer Package ($500), which includes unique 18-inch alloy wheels and synthetic leather/cloth upholstery finished in an umber hue.
The Soul can also be upgraded with added-cost exterior paints for $345, though some hues are only available on certain models. All models can be fitted with various accessories, including roof cross bars, a cargo net, illuminated door scuff plates, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, and more.
A fully loaded 2024 Kia Soul EX with all available options and accessories rings in at $28,440 MSRP. However, this is not the most expensive model. A GT-Line with the Technology Package and all available options costs $29,590. This model sports the Harman Kardon audio system, pulsating light speakers, and adaptive cruise control over the fully loaded EX model.
