How Much Does a Fully Loaded 2024 Volvo XC60 Cost?
The Volvo XC60 is the Swedish automaker’s entrant into the popular compact luxury SUV class, slotting in the brand’s lineup between the midsize XC90 and subcompact XC40. The XC60 and its unique styling have proved popular among Volvo buyers, becoming one of the brand’s best-selling nameplates. So, how much can car shoppers expect to pay for a new Volvo XC60 both in its base form and in its top trim with all available accessories and add-ons?
The 2024 Volvo XC60 starts at $47,745
The 2024 Volvo XC60 is available as a plug-in hybrid dubbed the “T8” powertrain, but this article will focus on the B5, or mild hybrid, model. Updates for 2024 include the discontinuation of the 205-horsepower B6 powertrain. All-wheel drive is now standard across the range.
With the B6 powertrain no longer offered, the XC60 is now exclusively powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pairs with a 48-volt mild hybrid system for a total output of 247 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque Volvo claims will scoot the XC60 from 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds.
The 2024 XC60 is offered in three trims — Core, Plus, and Ultimate — with prices starting at $47,745.
Standard exterior features include 18-inch alloy wheels, power-folding mirrors, roof rails, LED exterior lighting, a power liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry, and push-button start. Connectivity is highlighted by a 9-inch touchscreen operating a Google-based operating system with a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. Other standard interior features include a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient lighting. Buyers can select cloth or a choice of two synthetic leather upholstery options.
Volvo’s continued focus on safety gives the XC60 a long list of standard driver aids. All models include automatic forward and reverse braking, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, a driver alertness monitor, automatic high beams, and traffic sign recognition.
The Ultimate trim tops the latest XC60 lineup
The range-topping Ultimate trim starts at $57,695 and includes a host of additional upmarket features for the 2024 Volvo XC60.
Ultimate models feature 20-inch wheels, leather upholstery with a leather-wrapped dash, four-zone climate control, a crystal gear selector, upgraded interior ambient lighting, a Harmon Kardon sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, power-folding rear headrests, a universal garage door opener, and further movements to the power-adjustable front seats. Additional safety features include a surround-view camera, side parking sensors, upgraded lane-keep and adaptive cruise control systems, and a head-up display.
