Nissan is one of those automakers that’s been around for a while but doesn’t always get respect. This is because, despite recent improvements, many people remember the issues Nissan vehicles had before. As an effort to move mounting inventory, Nissan is currently offering some of the best car deals for 2024 on its midsize and small SUVs. Of course, the same is true for all its lower-priced vehicles.

Nissan is offering one of the best car deals of the year to clear out inventory

According to Motor1, Nissan has told dealerships to discount its vehicles up to 10% to make room for the upcoming 2025 inventory. In fact, the automaker is even allowing the Nissan Armada to go for up to 15 percent off. Unfortunately, this deal doesn’t apply to the ultra-pricy 2024 Nissan GT-R or the Platinum trim of the Pathfinder.

Nissan has improved over the years

Despite offering one of the best car deals of the year, Nissan is experiencing a bit of an upswing. Sales increased for the automaker in 2023 compared to the year before. Additionally, Nissan vehicles are selling more this year than they did at the same time last year. The problem Nissan is facing is that it still has nearly 100 days’ worth of new cars waiting for drivers. Historically, the next year’s cars arrive at dealers in the fall. This means Nissan doesn’t have much time.

The lowest selling Nissan vehicles are no surprise

As mentioned, Nissan has been experiencing quite a bit of success over the last few years. Its best-selling vehicle in 2024 is the Nissan Rogue, which sold an impressive 90,805 units. This is one of the best midsize SUVs, and it’s on track to surpass its 2023 sales, which totaled 271,458 units.

Nissan’s lowest-selling car of the year is a bit of a toss-up. Technically, it’s the Nissan GT-R, which has only sold 76 units this year. However, this car costs well over $100,000, so its low sales make sense. The second lowest-selling Nissan car in 2024 is the Nissan Z, which moved 671 units this year. This represents an increase from last year, which is true for many Nissan vehicles.

Nissan vehicles have quite a bit to offer buyers. Not only is Nissan more reliable than it once was, but it has a diverse lineup that ticks most of the most significant boxes. No word on how long one of the best car deals of the year will last.
