The compact SUV has been on the market for a couple of years, but no one seems to care. Luckily, one car expert is sharing why it could be among the top small SUVs.

The Dodge Hornet is among the top small SUVs

The Dodge Hornet entered the market in 2023. At the time, many believed it would be a massive success. However, as of 2024, the Hornet has been among the market’s slowest-selling vehicles. This is despite many calling it one of the top small SUVs. Now, according to Daily Dot, at least one car expert is trying to persuade buyers to give it a shot. 

Recently, Bogetti (@thebogettibunch) took to TikTok to explain why the Dodge Hornet is among the top small SUVs. He says it is mainly because there is a surplus. This means Dodge dealers are trying to get them off the lot, so there could be discounts. He also says it’s reasonably priced, which not everyone will agree with since it’s more expensive than other compact SUVs. 

Still, the TikTok user emphasizes the discounts. In fact, he says there are 13,500 brand-new Dodge Hornet models sitting on dealer lots just waiting for an owner. Dealerships are also desperate right now, as they have 2025 inventory on their lots, which makes them crowded. However, even he admits that the Dodge Hornet could be more exciting and that it’s just a rebadged Alfa Romeo.
