Nowadays, even the best new cars have trouble making it a few years without significant problems. However, stories sometimes come out about vehicles that drive hundreds of thousands of miles. This recently happened when a Toyota owner revealed that his used Corolla had surpassed 400,000 miles. He also shared what the legendary automaker sent him after reaching the milestone. 

This Toyota owner shows how reliable the automaker is

According to Daily Dot, one man recently took to TikTok and shared that his Toyota Corolla had reached 428,000 miles. After telling Toyota about the high mileage, the automaker sent him a badge as an award. Clearly, the Toyota owner was proud to receive the honor from the automaker. In the caption of his video, the man remarked, “Thanks @Toyota for the badge and reliable cars. 2011 Toyota Corolla with 428k miles and counting.”

The Toyota owner then says he plans to keep the Corolla until the summer of 2025. He says, “I plan on having this car until next summer, 2025. Unless Toyota wanna give me a new Corolla, but my 2011 Toyota Corolla has made the 400,000-mile club.”

The new 400,000-mile Toyota club member also shared that he initially didn’t want the 2011 Corolla. Additionally, the Toyota owner got it with 100,000 miles on the odometer. Of course, it should be noted that Toyota is one of the most reliable automakers for used cars. In fact, it has more vehicles likely to reach 250,000 miles than any other automaker. Still, reaching 400,000 miles is rare for even the best vehicles.
