This truck driver was pulled over for a traffic stop, and the police officers were surprised by what they found
Being in truck driving doesn’t excuse people from punishment for severe crimes. According to Fox 32, this happened to Naseeb Chisty from Canada after he was pulled over for a traffic stop in northwest Indiana. Reports say the police officers stopped the 18-wheeler at around 9:30 on the morning of September 16th. The police stopped the driver because they noticed a motor carrier violation.
However, things got much worse for the driver during the traffic stop. The law enforcement officers enlisted the help of a sniffer dog, which alerted the presence of drugs. They then searched the truck’s trailer and found almost 274 pounds of a white powdery substance in bags. Naturally, the police officers tested the substance, and sure enough, it was cocaine. Now, the truck driver is facing multiple felony charges.
After the traffic stop, the police officers took Naseeb to the Porter County Jail. His felony charges include dealing cocaine, which is a level two felony, and possession of cocaine, a level three.
