palisade
The Hyundai Palisade is a midsize crossover SUV model produced and sold by the Hyundai Motor Company. The newest and largest SUV in the Hyundai vehicle catalog, the Palisade is priced and sized above the Hyundai Tucson compact SUV and the Hyundai Santa Fe midsize SUV.
The origin of the Hyundai Palisade (named after a series of coastal cliffs in California) starts with the Grandmaster concept vehicle introduced at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. Several months later, the official production version, now named the Palisade, debuted at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, arriving as a replacement for the Hyundai Santa Fe XL/Maxcruz model variant.
Still in its first generation, the Hyundai Palisade is known for its unique grille, seating that fits up to eight passengers, and competitive price for its vehicle class. Since its introduction, the Palisade has been an admirable success in sales numbers and vehicle awards. The Palisade faces prominent competition from its South Korean sister company with the Kia Telluride, as well as from the Ford Explorer, the Honda Pilot, the Nissan Pathfinder, and the Subaru Ascent, and the Toyota Highlander.
